Bandera Electric Company Cooperative supplies electricity to seven counties in the Texas Hill County.
With more than 38,000 active customers, it is one of the larger electricity companies in the state.
Their electricity rates are in line with those of other cooperatives, but are consistently more expensive when compared to cities such as Abilene and Fort Worth. In addition to electricity, Bandera EC is also currently rolling out fiber optic internet service.
