If you live in an apartment, you should be looking at rates for 500 kWhs.  If you live in a house, the 1000 kWh or 2000 kWh rates are what you should look at.

If you don’t take into account how much electricity you will be using could be an expensive mistake.  The company with the cheapest electricity rate at 2000 kWhs is rarely the same company with the best rate for 500 kWh.
