This small city in Wise and Parker County, Texas has a population of close to 2,900 people, making it the 489th largest city in the state of Texas. The population growth has been relatively positive over the last decade. On the map the city lies within the northern part of the state, next to the cities of Sanctuary, Briar, Pelican Bay, Aurora, Newark, Azle, and is relatively close to Fort Worth (26 miles away) as well.

According to data on livability and the economy, Springtown is just barely below the average for cost of living rates in the county; it is cheaper to live in this city because of affordable housing and the unemployment rate is below average, so finding a job isn’t more difficult than other cities in the state.
