How do you use this information about Think Energy to choose your next electricity provider?
For most people, the decision comes down to one thing. Who has the cheapest electricity rates. Unfortunately, you can’t always tell this just by looking at the advertised rates. You have to dig a little deeper under the numbers. Determine how the plan is structured. Is the rate the company advertises going to be different in the real world based on how much electricity you use. Be careful of variable rate electricity plans where the rate can jump substantially with little or no notice. Fixed rate plans that don’t require you to meet specific criteria will usually be your best option in the end.
