Why choose a prepaid electricity plan
Many people have credit issues and can’t qualify for a traditional post-paid electricity plan without having to pay a large deposit. For these people, a prepaid light company is just what they need to get their power going. Prepaid electricity companies don’t run credit checks and don’t require deposits. They only require that a small amount of electricity is prepaid. After that, it is a pay-as-you go model. The rates are usually comparable to other electricity providers. Though sometimes they can be higher. Customers can monitor their electricity usage and their account balances online.
