Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative

Guadalupe Valley Electric Co-op (GVEC) is a cooperative electric company that delivers electricity and internet service to rural consumers that are primarily located east of San Antonio.  Founded in 1938, GVEC has grown its customer base in several ways.  They acquired several thousand new electricity accounts when they purchased the DeWitt Electric Cooperative in 2002.  They have also branched into other revenue-generating industries, such as high speed wireless and fiber optic internet, A/C and Heating installation and repair, solar panel sales, and even electrician services.

As an electricity customer of Guadalupe Valley EC, you have many perks and money saving opportunities.  GVEC offers Time-Of-Use billing, rebates for heat pumps and electric vehicle charging stations, Peak-Time Payback with eligible thermostats, SunHub Community Solar savings, and they even offer prepaid electricity.  There are several electricity fees to be aware of when establishing a new account with the company.

Net Metering is also available.  Offering net metering to customers is GVEC’s way of giving back and providing the best service possible. This positive for any consumer considering installing private solar panels, as they can sell their unused electricity into our grid with no problem.

Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative currently has a 4.5-Star Google rating.
